Education

Degree or technical course in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Technical English for reading manuals and documentation.

Requirements

Proven experience in industrial automation applied to discrete manufacturing.
Previous experience in the automotive, consumer goods, or pharmaceutical sectors.
Programming of Siemens and/or Rockwell PLCs.
Programming in Ladder and Structured Text.
Integration of industrial robots, preferably KUKA and/or Stäubli.
Integration with vision systems.
Practical knowledge of industrial networks.
Experience with industrial safety devices.
Reading and interpretation of electrical diagrams.
Experience in start-up and field commissioning.
Availability for travel.

Main activities

Software development for machines and automated cells.
Integration between PLCs, robots, HMIs, drives, and field devices.
Internal commissioning (FAT) and on-site customer commissioning (SAT).
Diagnosis and troubleshooting in the field.
Process adjustments during start-up.
Preparation of technical documentation.
Direct interface with electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, and the end customer.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with mobile robotics.
Basic knowledge of integration with MES systems.
Knowledge of programming with LabVIEW.
